Dear INTAGIO members and interested Gestalt practitioners, this is the invitation to register for the INTAGIO Gathering 2019

Hotel Olympia, Thessaloniki, Greece;
Address: Olimpou 65, Thessaloniki 546 31, Greece;

€ 370 per person for a single room, € 290 per person for a double room for the three nights.
This comprises full-board (bedrooms, conference facilities, breakfasts and lunches in the hotel, and suppers in different restaurants outside).
For locals who do not sleep over at the hotel the cost are € 150.
The voluntary participation in the pre-workshop day adds another € 80 to your cost (supper not included).
The summer is high-season, so consider booking your flights well in advance.
Thessaloniki is the second largest city in Greece and has non-stop flights from/to 87 cities in the world. There are direct flights e.g. from Amsterdam, Athens, Basel, Belgrade, Berlin, Brussels, Bucharest, Dnepropetrovsk, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Eindhoven, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Istanbul, London, Manchester, Milan, Minsk, Moscow, Munich, Riga, Rome, St Petersburg, Stuttgart, Tel Aviv and Warsaw, to name a few. In some cases, it might be cheaper to come with a non-direct flight (have a look at Skyscanner.net, or similar travel sites). If you are coming from the US you might need to catch a transfer flight usually at Athens, Munich or Frankfurt airports.
At the airport, there is a bus with non-stop service to and from the city centre: Bus Route Nr. X1 “KTEL – Airport ”, or Bus Route Nr. N1 “KTEL – Airport ” (Night Service). Direct buses run every 30 mins during daytime and every hour during the night. The ticket costs € 2 and can be purchased on the bus (be sure to have some coins with you - the machine doesn't accept bank notes). There are taxis that can get you to the city centre with cost around € 25.
Description of the Hotel and Surrounds:
The Hotel Olympia is one of the oldest in the historical center of the city, recently renovated. It is a boutique hotel, not a large one.
The immediate surroundings include an archeological site, the Roman Agora, a lot of Byzantine churches, and beautiful picturesque coffee shops where we can meet. We will go to a different taverna or restaurant each night as Thessaloniki is famous for its Mediterranean cuisine. We can have a variety of guided tours to see the city or parts of interest, organise an event on a ship (possibly after dinner), decide to go to a place to eat and dance on Saturday night with an orchestra. For those who came to Mati or Estoril, note that we won't be able to have a swim in the sea in walking distance, as this time we will be in the city which promises to have other advantages.
There are memorable places nearby of historical or picturesque interest like Vergina, the capital of Ancient Macedonia, 70km from Thessaloniki, or Stagira the birth place of Aristotle in Chalkidiki, 92km far from Thessaloniki.
Connections to the Thessaloniki Gestalt Community, possible Practicals and other Attractors:
Gestalt in Greece - Thessaloniki is part of the hub of the Greek Gestalt Foundation and Gestalt Edge (Gestalt in Organisations is still new)
Local Clients – In response to a high demand and success in working real-time with Gestalt in organizations, clients will be arranged for our pro bono work.
Unique Opportunities - The Gathering Committee is considering for the pre-gathering workshop to blend ‘relational outdoors‘ with “meeting the world where we are”, e.g. connect with local refugee initiatives.
Our special invitation goes to all members to invite additional interested practitioners to join INTAGIO for this 2019 Gathering. Please share this invitation thoughtfully.
Any special offers to give something to our community, or requests to take away something from the Gathering that you would like to make in advance, as they can influence our meeting each other, please communicate to the Gathering Committee.
